<image:caption>Protect This Park has chosen the Grizzly Bear as an emblem of it’s efforts. The bear is present in our logo and various imagery on our website and apparel. Why Grizzlies? Grizzlies are resilient, they are multi-faceted and adaptable to the challenges presented to them environmentally, physically, and spiritually. Many grizzlies feed, mate, den, and live in the Kananaskis Valley. Currently there is minimal protections for these iconic animals in place by our provincial Government. Pictured left - July 2019, picture mother bear 152 and her two cubs, all of which continue to thrive.</image:caption>
